Death Guard Plague Marines - Custom Tier, c. Oct. 2020;

This was my first attempt at oil painting after watching many tutorials from James Wappel, among others. It was a really interesting project because the client really wanted to achieve a nice OSL effect from the slime pools and the plasma weapons, but didn't want to pay the Tier 3 premium that comes along with OSL and acrylic paint. Our compromise was that the client would get their OSL and I would get the opportunity to achieve it with oil paint! I think the result turned out well and I'm looking forward to painting more models in oils in the future.
